# Analytics

Suger Analytics charts the data already in your Suger organization — revenue records, entitlements, buyers, co-sell referrals, and your own users — without exporting it to another tool first. It runs at [console.suger.io/analytics](https://console.suger.io/analytics), ships with built-in dashboards you can use as they are, and lets you build your own on top of the same datasets.

The building block is a **chart**, not a dashboard. You create a chart against one dataset, and that chart is reusable — several dashboards can show it, so a metric stays defined in one place. Dashboards then add filters on top, so a single dashboard answers a range of questions instead of needing a copy per segment.

## What you can do

- Create a chart from a dataset and pick from a wide catalog of visualizations — area, bar, big number, funnel, heatmap, country map, and more.
- Assemble charts into a dashboard, add filters to it, and pin the dashboard so it is reachable from the console navigation.
- Scope a dashboard by time with the **As Of Date** filter, or by whatever dimensions the underlying dataset exposes.
- Switch any chart to **View as Table** to see the rows behind it, then export and download the data.

## Scope and limits

Analytics reads the data Suger already holds for your organization, through the out-of-the-box datasets described above. If a metric you need is not carried by one of those datasets, it cannot be charted here — check the dataset reference first when planning a dashboard.
